Regina A. Apparicio is an Associate Clinical Psychologist & Certified Grief Educator with a decade of experience in the field of mental health.
She has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and has completed postgraduate training in Loss, Grief and Trauma Management which guides her approach to support healing of one’s mind, body and spirit. She offers individual as well as group based intervention for youth and adults. She has worked directly with children, adolescents and adults in addressing their experiences of trauma, loss/grief, anxiety, depression, addiction, and ADHD.
Regina is also an experienced facilitator of workshops and conferences, educator and mentor for colleagues in training to support the advancement of the field of mental health. She is considerably passionate about the destigmatization of mental health which has led to her involvement as Director for both Mental Health Talk Antigua and Scrub Life Cares. Her community involvement has not gone unnoticed as she became the first recipient of the JCI Antigua award for Mental Health Activist in 2021.
Outside of work, she can be found engaging in creative events and projects as well as maintaining her own well-being by going to the beach and participating in hiking/ outdoor activities as well as yoga.
